The distributor is in a unique position. He knows the local market and works on a regular basis with contractors, purchasing agents and other buying influences in his area.

The specifier customer group includes all those who have the authority to decide, or specify, which products are acceptable for a particular job. They may be architects, lighting designers, electrical engineers, building owners, occupants or corporate officials who select fixtures for their buildings, or other persons interested in lighting.

With few exceptions, every commercial and industrial product we ship is handled by a contractor. And, everything about our fixtures is important to him, because not only the cost of the fixture, but also the cost to install them, affects his profits. The contractor's experience with our equipment and attitude about us have a strong influence on how other customer groups view us. In order for the contractor to be our friend, we must consistently provide trouble-free products and labor-saving features that lower his installation costs.
