Cafeterias are public gathering areas for dining and group activities.  Kitchens are areas of food preparation and serving.  FDA, NSF, and USDA guidelines may apply.  Both areas may contain tables, vending machines, microwave ovens, and refrigerators.  Color is critical so food will appear appetizing.
