System Controller

The system controller contains the main processor, clock and memory for the Synergy system. Each controller also acts as the user inter-face having a keypad and display for convenient and simple entry and editing of programs, manual control, viewing status and diagnostics.

Synergy is the first lighting control product to utilize PC-104 embedded PC technology that is common today in industrial controls and automated teller machines. Synergy capitalizes on the power and performance of the personal computer, the vast array of compatible technologies, and the open-ended architecture that typifies the PC standard.

With the optional ISA expansion buss, the controller can be equipped with a voice modem card for remote access and voice guided telephone override.  Also optional is an interface allowing the controller to receive a DMX512 control stream from a theatrical console or show controller.

Based on the application requirements, the system controller can be supplied in a basic SYSC MLC  version, enhanced SYSC MLS version or network SYSC MLX version.

The Controller Feature Comparison Table lists the features available with each controller type.
