There are several engineering disciplines at Lithonia. Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical and Software Engineers focus on the design and development of new products. Industrial, Process, Electrical, Quality and Manufacturing Engineers ensure that our facilities are well laid-out and work flows efficiently. They develop manufacturing standards, designs tools and machines, and ensure product quality.

Engineering, Marketing and Operations work together in cross-functional teams to ensure that products will meet customer needs, are well-designed and easily manufactured. Common engineering skill requirements include Designers, Industrial Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Electronic Designers, Mechanical Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Project Engineers. We have a Dual Career Ladder to address the career goals of both "hands on" technical engineers and those engineers who would like to be more involved in project management and supervision.

Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in one of the above areas and applicable experience are required. The strongest candidates are team-oriented, highly committed problem-solvers focused on meeting customer needs. They must be flexible, quick learners with demonstrated competency in product design or manufacturing engineering. A demonstrated track record of leadership activities in academics, extra curricular, community or work environment is a plus. Experience using CAD or Pro-E is a plus.
