Acuity Brands knows that you are concerned about online security and privacy information. This Privacy Policy applies to all of the websites offered by Acuity Brands, Inc. or its subsidiaries or affiliated companies located in the United States (the “Site”). We appreciate your trust that we will act responsibly with any information you share through this Site.

Collection of Personal Information, Financial Information and Information Sharing

The Site allows anonymous viewing of all public information on the Site. You can view the information on these pages without telling us who you are. There may be some pages on the Site that request certain personally identifying information from you, such as name, address, email address, phone and fax numbers, company name, title or job position. Some limited products may be available to purchase online. To complete these online financial transactions our sites may request personally identifying information including contact information and credit card billing information. Disclosure of this information is completely voluntary and you have a choice whether or not to disclose this information. In addition to the permitted disclosures described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, this information may be shared with credit card processing organizations.

Acuity Brands may disclose all or any portion of your personally identifying or financial information if it believes there are exceptional reasons to do so. In addition, if you submit your own content in any forum, information sharing channel or other online function on the Site, any personal information that you post on the Site becomes public information, may be shared with other participants in the forum and may be used by us in accordance with the Site Terms and Conditions. If you are located outside of the United States, please note that the Site is hosted on our computer servers in the United States. Any personal information collected through the Site may be transferred to the United States and other countries that might not provide an equivalent level of protection as the data protection laws in your home country. Your use of the Site or submission of any personal information will constitute your consent to the transfer of your personal information outside of your home country. Non-Identifying Information

While we try to link only to sites that share our high standards and respect for privacy, we are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices employed by other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information.

Acuity Brands does not knowingly collect or maintain any personal information from children under the age of 13. In addition, no part of our site is designed with the purpose of attracting any person under age 13. We request that children do not provide personally identifiable information through the Site.
